DJ Andy Cule

Summer 2015 is getting underway and DJ Andy Cule has been kick-starting things at the famous walkabout Newquay. Running his own nights (JMAC Promotions) Along side the great Radio 1xtra DJ Matt Howes.

Andy is preparing for his huge Spanish tour at the beginning of August. Play at the Legendary Tramps Tenerife, A mystery venue in Madrid then onto the White Isle for Play2 Ibiza. Playing along side Grant Collins & Sam Dungate for Twisted Fusion.

Summer season 2014 DJ Andy Cule was out in the great club Iceberg CPH in Bulgaria’s Sunny Beach. DJ Andy Cule was the main resident DJ along side Keith Wessling. As well as the resident for Iceberg Andy was doing a two-hour show on Sunny Beach Radio everyday. Iceberg CPH gets crowds of at least 1,000 people throughout the summer. Andy has had a huge passion for music from a young age. Andy’s DJ career started in 2003, when he DJ’d at Exeter’s then biggest nightclub Warehouse Box’s & Boogie.

Andy has worked his way up the ladder, from doing warm up sets for other DJs to holding his own long residencies in some of the best clubs in the South West of England.

In 2009 Andy & Steve Morgan created Guilty Logic.  Andy & Steve wrote and produced their first track “Let It Rain” featuring vocals from Sarah Hasseler and have gone on to collaborate with Oli Power. Guilty Logic are currently working on a new album and several remixes.

Andy worked for 3 years for Southwest Sound & Light, a stage electrics company, installing systems for nightclubs. During this time Andy was trained in how to operate and program the Martin Light Jockey system.

Andy moved to Tenerife Spain in May 2011, to further his career, after successfully auditioning at Tramps ‘The King Of Clubs’. Andy had aspired to DJ at Tramps because of its reputation as one of the best clubs in Tenerife. Tramps is famous for hosting Radio 1’s ‘6 Weeks of Summer’ live broadcasts.

Over the last two seasons at Tramps Andy has been DJing in front of crowds of over 1000 people and has worked alongside many famous acts such as Judge Jules, Dave Pearce, Vernon Kay, Scott Page (Friday Night Posse), Mike Lewis (N Trance), Artful Dodger, Ratpack and Leon Cormack.
Andy has headlined events in Madrid, Rome and in the UK for ‘Quenched’, working alongside live percussionist, saxophonist, guitarist and keyboards.

Andy has been flying over to appear as a special guest DJ at the awesome Play 2 nightclub in San Antonio, to be part of ‘Twisted Fusion’, which was launched this summer in Ibiza. ‘Twisted Fusion’ is a collaboration between Marc Jepson a former Tramps DJ, and the winter resident Grant Collins.

Andy plays a wide range of music, including his own individual style of house music. Andy produces his own remixes and is known for skillfully incorporating vocal acapellas. Andy works with both vinyl and CDs. Andy also works with Serato Scratch Live, which he says has opened up a whole new element of DJing for him, which he uses alongside Video SL and Ableton Live. Andy has built a vast library of original music videos and has also edited and created graphics for videos himself.
